Meet the human behind the camera

I’m an all-round photographer, from casually capturing everyday moments on film to chasing beauty with my Sony. For me, it’s all about keeping memories for later. This page is my way of sharing what would otherwise just sit on a hard drive.

Why I photograph

In my IT work, creativity isn’t always the main focus. That’s why I enjoy the burst of creativity I get when looking at the world through a camera. It gives me another perspective, finding beauty in everyday moments or in places where it’s often overlooked.

Since I was little, I’ve liked taking pictures. Walking around with my parents’ digicam at family gatherings turned into shooting on my phone and editing the results, before finally buying my first DSLR. Somehow I also got my hands on an analog camera — and soon there were two. I loved the look film gave my photos and the surprise of not knowing how an image would turn out. Sometimes it was disappointing, but some of my favorite photos came from those cameras.
